Java goes home!

Java's family just came to get her. She is an escape artist. We were just glad to get her back with her family because they obviously care a lot about her.

The dog that followed us home

This morning while Chaco and I were out running, a dog loping along the other way decided to join us. This happens periodically. I tried to figure out where her home was and she had a collar but no tags. I brought her home and put out signs in the area and we're hoping her owners will call. She is a great dog and is chewing a bone as I write.

Making a quilt...not to be accomplished without the dogs

I made a quilt yesterday and when I went to take the photos this morning, Chaco and Hattie wanted to be in them. I think Nestle is nowhere to be seen because I spent most of yesterday, while I was sitting at the sewing machine, asking her to go away. She had an idea that it was the time to want to climb into my lap. And she wasn't much better when I had a hot iron in my hand...
